Angau Christmas Gift-Giving

On December 14, 2024, our Rotary Club spread holiday cheer at Angau Hospital’s Children’s Ward with a special Christmas Gift-Giving event. We brought smiles to the faces of young patients, delivering toys, books, and treats to help brighten their spirits during the festive season. This annual tradition is a small but meaningful way we can show our support for children and their families facing health challenges. The laughter and joy shared that day were priceless, and we are grateful to all our members and donors who made this event possible. Wheelchair Donations – July to October 2024

From July to October 2024, our Rotary Club was proud to facilitate the donation of wheelchairs to individuals with mobility challenges across Lae and surrounding areas. With the support of our generous members and partners, we were able to provide life-changing mobility aids to those in need, helping improve their independence and quality of life. These wheelchairs are not just about physical mobility—they represent freedom, dignity, and the ability to participate more fully in daily life. Whether for children, adults, or elderly community members, each donation is a step toward greater inclusion and empowerment. Rotary Charity Ball – June 2024

In June 2024, we hosted an unforgettable evening at the Rotary Charity Ball, where elegance and generosity came together for a night of celebration and giving. 💫 The event was a huge success, bringing together Rotarians, community leaders, and supporters who shared a common goal: to raise funds for vital local and international projects. Through a spectacular program of live entertainment, silent auctions, and heartfelt speeches, we were able to raise much-needed resources to support our ongoing initiatives and make a lasting impact in the lives of those who need it most.
