President Elect Meeting in Brisbane 2023

In 2023, the President Elect Meeting was held in Brisbane, bringing together Rotary leaders from across the region. This important event provided an opportunity for incoming Rotary Club Presidents to gather, exchange ideas, and receive valuable training and resources to help guide their clubs in the year ahead. The meeting focused on strengthening leadership skills, promoting Rotary’s global initiatives, and fostering collaboration among clubs. The Rotary Club of Lae Huon Gulf, like many other clubs, was represented, ensuring that the leadership team was well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead in serving their communities.

Lap Desks Donations to Various Schools

January 2023

The Rotary Club of Lae Huon Gulf donated lap desks to Pileh Pre-School, Labu Primary and Jaro Elementary Schools, providing students with much-needed support for their studies. These lap desks create a more comfortable and effective learning environment, particularly in areas where proper classroom furniture is scarce. This generous contribution helps improve the educational experience for the students, allowing them to focus better and engage more fully in their lessons.
