DIK to Zuming Primary School

These photos are from the recent distribution of DIK early this month to Zuming Primary School. The club donated 25 small students table, 25 Elementary chairs, 2 x teachers tray, 5 boxes of Teachers resources & General reading books for grades 3 – grade 8. Zuming Primary School is located outside of Lae City about 40-45mins drive out on the Markham highway road. Students that attended the schools come from villages from the surrounding villagers. Grade 3 classroom did not have any desks, students sit on the floor. The donation was very timely as it was given to the Grade 3 students.

The Long Road to Progress – Nawantmaran Primary School

Despite the long distance, rugged mountainous terrain and fast flowing rivers, villagers who live along the banks of the Mami and Mangiang Rivers in Umi Atzera local level government in Markham continue to make the two-hour trek to Mutzing and Umi Markets to sell their garden produce for cash as well as to meet up with other relatives now living below in the Markham Plains.
