Ting Elementary School double classroom hand over 20th Feb 2016

The Rotary club of Lae Huon Gulf handed over the double classroom, funded by Rotary, to Ting Elementary School, on Saturday 20th Feb 2016.

The funds used for the material purchases were raised by various fundraising events including the 2015 Rotary Black Tie Ball.

The Official Party included a representative for the Morobe Governor , Mr Patrick Levo , who on behalf of the Governor, Pledged a cheque for K10,000.00 for the continued advancement of education in this under privileged area of Lae.

The Rotarians had also arranged for 2 local Television Channels to have camera and reporting crews, and local Newspaper reporters, to be in attendance , to record the event for prosperity.

The community expressed it extreme thanks to the Lae Huon Gulf Rotary Club for the valued assistance and long term relationship that was developing, and hopes that further assistance may come for future projects.

The Rotarians who attended the presentation were extremely humbled by the profound feelings expressed by the community on the day.
